• Carpeted floors in the immediate work area are covered with tarps
• All articles in the basement are covered with plastic sheeting
• Heated air duct openings in the basement are sealed to prevent dust from spreading throughout the home
• If necessary, planking is laid over the lawn to prevent damage
• All tools, crushed rock, cement, & debris are transferred through basement windows, eliminating numerous trips on the stairs and throughout the home

Upon completion of the installation, finished paneling or wall coverings in the basement are dusted, floors are mopped, and all materials and debris are removed from the premises.
